About Willow

Meet Willow! She was rescued from a colony with her kittens as part of our Trap/Neuter/Return program. Initially classified as a Community Cat, Willow is now on her journey toward adoption due to her social personality. Transitioning cats like Willow into a home can be a process. Be patient, as it's common for them to need time to adjust. Expect her to follow the Rule of 3: three days to decompress, three weeks to start settling in, and three months to truly feel at home. Initially, she may want to hide, so confining her to a crate in a busy part of the house or a guest room can help. To bond, use food, especially stinky wet food and Churu treats, as well as gentle touches with a back scratcher. Willow has been spayed, microchipped, and is currently up to date on all vaccinations. If you're ready to open your home and heart to her, visit the Animal Rescue League of Boston in Dedham during adoption hours. This could be the start of something paw-some!
