Weighing in at around 80 pounds, Zena is a beautiful large-breed girl who brings enthusiasm, affection, and plenty of personality to each day! Although she may be a bit cautious with new faces initially, a little patience and some tasty treats will quickly reveal her loving nature. Zena has a rich history of living harmoniously with children ages 9 to 18, cats, small puppies, and even rabbits. She is especially gentle with the cats she currently spends time with. While she can be selective with unfamiliar dogs, careful introductions and positive reinforcement can help her build new canine friendships. This energetic girl thrives on activity, whether it’s running through a backyard, exploring the outdoors, or enjoying her favorite deer antlers and dog snacks. She knows commands such as sit, paw, and lay down, and she eagerly comes when called. Zena enjoys car rides and is ready for her next adventure. However, due to her strength, she needs a physically capable guardian who can continue her leash-training journey. Zena is house-trained, spayed, and up to date on vaccinations. Aside from some anxiety during veterinary visits, managed with medication, she is in good health. She is on the lookout for a loving home full of patience, activity, and connection.
