Meet Bodhi! This handsome and playful Black Mouth Cur is on the lookout for a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly part of a family. Weighing in at about 50 pounds, Bodhi is loyal, intelligent, and full of energy. His journey hasn't been easy—he was found scared and hungry, left behind in a neighborhood of Miami. Luckily, a caring foster family brought him in, and he has made incredible progress since then. Bodhi is now housebroken, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. He currently shares his space with two other dogs and gets along well with them. Though he may be a bit skittish at first due to his past experiences, he’s far from aggressive—just cautious. Once Bodhi trusts you, his goofy and affectionate personality really shines. He loves to play and even makes adorable growl-purr noises when you pet him. Food motivates Bodhi, which makes training an enjoyable venture. He enjoys running around outside and even likes to swim. An active home that provides structure and adventure would suit him best. Given that he has a tendency to chase cats, it’s ideal for him to be in a cat-free home. Now that Bodhi has come so far, he deserves a loving and stable environment where he can continue to flourish and become the loyal companion he’s destined to be. Adoption fee is $350.
