About Shortcake
Meet Shortcake, known affectionately as "Shorty." This delightful young cat is just shy of a year old and is an adorable little cow kitty with soft, velvety fur, bright green eyes, and a charming bubblegum pink nose. Her sweet, expressive face and perpetually curious eyes make it hard not to fall for her. Shorty thrives on affection. She loves being close to her humans, often flopping over for belly rubs or curling up right beside you whenever possible. While she’s not a fan of traditional carrying, pick her up like a baby, and she will melt into your arms, happily snuggling under your chin at night, always seeking that closeness. This little chatterbox keeps the atmosphere lively with her playful conversation. From announcing her leaps onto the couch to saying hello when you enter a room, her cheerful chirps add to her charm. Shorty entertains herself remarkably, often carrying toy mice or solving puzzles with her sister, Sugar Cookie. This duo would be thrilled to be adopted together, as they share a bond of playful companionship. Shorty gets along well with gentle dogs too, and both girls are litter box experts who adore people. Currently, Shorty is being fostered in Farmington, CT. Once she is spayed, has all her vaccinations, and is tested negative for FIV/FeLV, she will be ready for her forever home. Interested in meeting her? Applications for adoption can be found on the Foster and Forever Pet Rescue website.
