About Cyan
Cyan's foster family is covering her adoption fee. She arrived at the rescue as a scared 10-week-old, having spent her early days outdoors alongside her mom and siblings. The rough start left her wary—she used to hide and hiss when people approached. Over time, with patience and quiet encouragement (and the occasional soft treat), Cyan learned to trust her foster family. Now, she enjoys spending time with her people, curling up on laps, and making biscuits while hanging out on the couch. Cyan still tends to be skittish with new people or abrupt movements, but she’s learned to enjoy being held and petted once she feels safe. She loves batting at catnip mice, chasing balls, and climbing her cat tree to watch the world below. Cyan gets along well with the resident cat and would likely be happiest in a peaceful home with another friendly feline. She needs an owner who understands her cautious nature and is willing to give her the space and patience she needs to blossom. Cyan was born in early October 2024 and is fixed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on her shots. She is currently being fostered in Naugatuck, CT. Ready to fall in love?
