She enjoys her meals, loves her beauty sleep, and produces the cutest snores that can easily drown out any background noise. With her signature snaggle tooth and comical barking for food, Posey is sure to keep you entertained daily. She thrives on belly rubs, affection, and being close to her loved ones. Although she values her independence, she'd much prefer being around people rather than spending time alone. Posey is great with kids and would make a perfect addition to any family looking for a calm and loving companion. Though she enjoys the company of dogs, she can be a bit bossy at times. Being a tripod means she will need lifelong supplements to stay healthy. She's currently in foster care in a two-story home and needs assistance with stairs, but who wouldn’t want to carry around a lovable 30-pound bundle of joy? Having spent much of her life in a cage, Posey is still acclimating to the world outside. She's doing well on a set schedule, showing very few accidents. Most importantly, she needs a patient and understanding home that will support her in adjusting to the life she's always deserved. Posey simply asks for a soft place to nap, people to love, and a forever home where she can finally feel safe.
