About Mitch
Mitch is a 3-year-old, neutered male American Bully/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix currently in Charlotte, NC. After a rough start in life—abandoned twice by his original owner—Mitch found care and compassion with his fosters at Pet Suites. He’s left his scared days behind and is now all about sweetness and goofiness, equally happy doing zoomies or just crashing for a nap. Mitch loves attention and gives it back in spades, and he’s crate trained and house trained. He’s food-motivated, takes treats gently, and already knows basic commands like sit and shake. This excitable, strong fellow thrives with structure, so he needs an adopter who has experience with big, affectionate dogs. Mitch enjoys the company of other dogs after a slow introduction and handles corrections well, but he does not get along with cats. Mitch’s playful nature and belief that he’s a lapdog make him better suited to homes with kids 12 and up. After all that he’s been through, Mitch is finally ready for a family that will stick by him.
