Meet Maiya, a Boxer and Bulldog mix who’s ready to find her forever home in Houston, Texas. At 48 lbs, this young lady carries a gentle spirit and an affectionate nature. After spending much of her life caring for others and recently transitioning from a stray life, she now knows the love and kindness she deserves. Maiya has a heart full of sweetness. She’s wonderful with children and has proven her calm demeanor, even enjoying gentle tickles and kisses from little ones. Thanks to the folks at Sunnyside Street Dogs, she's learned the beauty of cozy beds and tasty meals. After recently raising her three puppies, who have all found their families, she’s now hoping for her turn. She’s house trained, spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. Maiya enjoys her walks and has great leash manners, making her a fantastic companion for strolls around the neighborhood or some quiet park time. She gets along well with other dogs too, making her a great fit for almost any family. All Maiya seeks is a loving home where she can feel secure and cherished every day. Could that be with you?
