Meet Tony, a testament to resilience and the power of second chances. Tony had a rough start in life. His litter was found abandoned and starving in the East Texas Piney Woods. Sadly, Tony was the only survivor. But luckily for him, Tony found his way to Freedom Street Rescue where he was able to forget about his past and become a loving and happy boy who just wants to bring joy and loyalty to his forever family. Tony enjoys the simple routines of daily life alongside his human and doesn't need grand adventures to make him happy. His foster mom describes Tony as loyal, affectionate, and quiet, with a funny and entertaining personality, especially when he amuses himself with squeak toys! (See video.) Tony loves nothing more than being with his human, whether it's helping with gardening or simply snuggling on the couch for a movie. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and wants to snuggle with all of them! (See photos.) Tony has also shown a nurturing side, as he always keeps a watchful eye over the tiny foster puppies that come in to his home. (See photo.) Tony's DNA shows that he is a unique mix of breeds, truly a One-Of-A-Kind! He's 52% Bulldog which explains his stocky body, 24% Great Pyrenees which explains his nurturing side, and 14% Border Collie which explains his love of chasing balls. Tony would do best in a home with a fenced yard and a friendly playful canine companion. Tony is around a year old and weighs 50 lbs. He is microchipped, neutered, up-to-date on his shots, housebroken and uses a doggie door. Tony is being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the Northeast upon adoption.
