About Tanner
Tanner is a sweet, affectionate boy looking for a loving home where he can truly thrive. He has previously lived happily with cats, dogs, and respectful children aged 9 and 12, making him a wonderful companion for families of many shapes and sizes. This loyal dog loves being around his people but does experience some separation anxiety. For this reason, Tanner would do best in a home where someone is present most of the time or where he wonβt be left alone for long periods. His future family should be dedicated to helping him gain confidence through a consistent routine, crate training, and a cozy space where he feels secure when home alone. With patience and structure, Tanner can truly flourish. He gets a bit excited when greeting people and might jump up to say hello, but he responds well to gentle reminders. During walks, he can be reactive towards other dogs on leash; however, he's well-behaved while interacting off leash. Tanner is currently available for foster-to-adopt while a lump on his front leg is being evaluated. Heβs feeling great and is eager to start his journey into a forever home. If you're searching for a loyal and loving companion who needs someone to help him gain confidence, Tanner may be the perfect match for your family!
