About Maggie
Meet Maggie! Maggie is the definition of a cuddle bug. This sweet, affectionate girl adores being close to her people and would be thrilled to spend her days curled up in your lap. With a calm, easygoing personality, she makes for a wonderful companion for cozy evenings and relaxing weekends. Fully house-trained, Maggie is ready to settle into her new home. She loves soaking up attention, giving snuggles, and being wherever her favorite humans are. However, she does have a high prey drive, so she’ll do best with a family that can help manage her instincts and provide appropriate outlets for her energy. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, loving best friend who will make your days a little cozier. If you’re looking for a laid-back companion with a heart full of love, Maggie is ready to become your newest family member! She arrived at Anderson Animal Shelter from their partner shelter in Indiana and has tested positive for Heartworm. The staff believes that the best place for Heartworm-positive dogs like Maggie is in a loving, forever home during their treatments. The process is generally three months and highly successful, with the clinic staff ready to guide you every step of the way. Stop by and meet this cute girl in person during our adoption hours.
