About Fluff
Meet Fluff, a captivating cat with a story that's anything but ordinary. Once trapped in a garage trash can and living as a feral, he faced some tough times, including a car accident that resulted in a fractured pelvis. Fortunately, no surgery was needed; just some cage rest and time to heal. Today, Fluff is physically thriving and bravely embracing life with humans, although he's still figuring out that not all people are bad. He's beginning to enjoy toys and is slowly learning to accept affection. Fluff gets along well with other cats, and having a confident feline friend around would be ideal for him. However, Fluff requires an experienced adopter. He reacts strongly to quick movements and doesn't appreciate being pushed outside his comfort zone. He's particularly defensive about his back area, so brushing him can lead to a defensive swipe. This means homes with young kids or those looking for an instant cuddle buddy won’t be the best fit for him. He needs someone patient and knowledgeable about cat behavior, who understands that trust comes with time. If you appreciate subtle progress and can honor his boundaries, you’ll witness an amazing transformation in Fluff over time. He’s not seeking someone to change him but rather someone to walk alongside him on his journey. Fluff may have his quirks, but he’s come a long way, and we believe his best moments are yet to come. Now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV, Fluff is ready for a special home.
