About Kumo
Meet Kumo, a 65-pound Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd mix with a heart full of sensitivity and a yearning for connection. Kumo often feels anxious, pacing when unsure of his environment and finding solace near doors or corners. While he's not currently interested in toys or treats, his love for affection is unmistakable. Kumo enjoys snuggling close and will gently remind you for pets if you stop. Once comfortable, he shares sweet kisses, showing his appreciation for closeness. Although he enjoys outdoor time, he may bark if unfamiliar people approach too quickly. Kumo needs an experienced adopter who understands his breed mix and sensitive nature, along with the commitment this entails for exercise, structure, training, and socialization. He prefers a calm, stable home without small children or other animals and is not suited for apartment living. Meeting all household members is essential before adoption; with consistency and a knowledgeable handler, Kumo can develop a loyal bond and thrive as a devoted companion. His adoption fee has been sponsored, and all Pennington County residents will need to pay an additional $8 licensing fee at the time of adoption. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
