About Carrie

Carrie is ready for a fresh start after being left behind by her former family. She’s a sweet girl who currently shows a bit of nervousness in the shelter setting but absolutely loves a good belly rub. Getting her out for walks is playful; she jumps around excitedly, making it feel like a game. Since her arrival, she’s met other dogs, including a neutered male named Kodiak, but seemed more focused on her humans. She did give a little sniff to a smaller spayed female but soon returned to her own exploration. While her interest in new dog friends is still developing, Carrie would benefit from meet-and-greets with potential canine companions and kids to ensure a good fit. We don’t have any information on how she interacts with cats. If you think you can provide the loving home she deserves, we’d love for you to meet her in person at Iredell County Animal Services, located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC. The adoption hours are Monday to Friday from 12 PM to 5 PM and Saturday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
