AvailableHarley is a 9-year-old neutered male, a medium-sized pit bull terrier/mixed breed who weighs 66.50 pounds. He has been housebroken during his long time with his previous family and does best in a home without cats. Harley is currently located in Statesville, NC.
About Harley
Harley found himself back with the rescue after spending eight years with his family due to unavoidable housing breed restrictions. At 9 years old, he's housebroken and has a long history of doing well with older children, specifically those between 10 and 15 years. Harley weighs in at 66.50 pounds and sometimes forgets his size, roughhousing in a playful way that comes from thinking heβs much smaller. Heβll need a cat-free home, as he simply canβt resist barking at them. Known for being cuddly and especially affectionate with women, Harley still lights up with energy and a playful spirit despite his age. When introduced to a similar-sized spayed female dog at the shelter, he greeted her with plenty of excitement, tail wags, and a quick dash to play. Exams can make him a little nervous, but he recovers quickly and handles it all well. Meet and greets are encouraged for families with other dogs or children, just to make sure everyone clicks. If youβre looking for a big-hearted senior who still has a zest for life and plenty of cuddles to give, Harley waits to meet you in person in Statesville, NC. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
