Roger is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who’s as sweet as they come. Initially, he arrived at the shelter feeling scared and a bit underweight, but he’s making great strides every day. With a playful yet chill demeanor, Roger enjoys a good game of fetch and is just as happy to curl up on the couch for a movie night. He takes a little time to warm up but thrives when he gets to know new friends (people are definitely his favorite). Roger has shown he can get along well with other dogs; once he adjusts to their presence, he’s eager to play. Though he was found as a stray, he shows signs of being housetrained but may need some reminders as he adapts to his new home.
