About Rooster
Meet Rooster, a playful young Manchester Terrier ready to find a loving home. Rescued as a stray from Clackamas County, he’s working through some anxiety but is already proving to be great with both dogs and cats, given a gradual introduction. Rooster enjoys taking his time to build trust. While he’s a bit wary of men, he blooms around gentle women and will show his affection in no time. His favorite pastime? Cuddling up in your lap and showering you with kisses. He handles car rides well and loves exploring new places, though keeping him secure at home is essential as he adjusts to a stable environment. Currently mastering potty training and knowing commands like sit and shake, Rooster is eager to learn more. He would thrive in a quieter setting where he can feel safe from sudden noises that can be startling. He may require some anxiety medication to help him relax fully as he transitions into his happily ever after. Rooster’s journey has been challenging, but he’s excited to discover the joys of a consistent and loving home. If you think you can be his new best friend, fill out an application to meet him!
