About Pixie
Pixie is a petite and precious 10(ish)-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 7 lbs of pure sweetness. This little lady has so much love to share and is looking for her forever home to spend her golden years in comfort and peace. Small in size but big in personality, Pixie was rescued in Texas and now enjoys being cuddled like a baby. She is gentle, calm, and carries the quiet charm that only a senior dog can offer. Pixie thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she feels safe. A busy or loud household may overwhelm her delicate spirit. With the help of a dog playpen, she creates her own cozy sanctuary where she can retreat and recharge. If you're searching for a loyal, low-key companion who simply wants love and care in her senior years, Pixie may be the perfect match. Once she acclimates to her surroundings, Pixie quickly learns her space, creating a mental map of your home. She's a fan of cuddling but also enjoys licking a bully stick, rolling a treat ball, or exploring a snuffle mat. Although she is deaf and has limited eyesight, her keen sense of smell guides her. Food motivated, she performs a speedy dash to her meal bowl and manages to eat well with some broth on her food. Pixie is friendly and doesn't mind sharing her space or treats with other dogs.
