About Paco

Meet Paco! This 3-year-old, 18lb charmer made his way up from Texas after being found as a stray and is now settling into Brooklyn, NY life. Paco’s a small mixed-breed Chihuahua with a reddish-chestnut short coat, and he’s already shown his sweet, affectionate side. He’s playful once he feels comfortable and goes straight for the cuddles—he’ll burrow up under your chin at night and loves just being close. He isn’t fazed by other dogs thanks to time at doggy daycare, and he’s great with people, always up for some affection. He’s getting used to city life, enjoying slow walks where he can stop and sniff everything. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. Paco gets along with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a flexible fit for many households. After testing positive for heartworm in Texas, he completed treatment before heading north and is ready for his next chapter. Give this good-natured little guy the home he’s been waiting for.
