About Doc
Say hello to Doc! Doc is a 5-year-old Chihuahua mix seeking a loving family to help him embrace the joys of life. While he tends to be reserved when meeting new faces, he is a sweet little guy underneath that cautious exterior. He craves a safe and loving environment where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. It’s important for his new family to understand that trust is built over time. With gentle encouragement and plenty of affection, Doc will grow in confidence and reveal his true personality. A quieter home with compassionate people who respect his need for time to adjust would be ideal for this deserving boy. Watching him discover that he’s truly home will be a rewarding experience for the lucky family that adopts him. If you believe in giving dogs like Doc a chance to thrive, he’s eager to meet you! The adoption fee is $300, which includes age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If you have other dogs, they will need to meet Doc to ensure compatibility. Currently, visits are by appointment only due to a personnel shortage. To meet Doc or to inquire about adoption, please email tchspapillion@gmail.com. A representative from the rescue will reach out to discuss whether you might be a good fit.
