About Chihuahua Rocco

Chihuahua Rocco just joined the LWDR crew and is settling right in. He's about 6 years old and, true to Chihuahua form, took a couple of days to size things up at his foster home before warming up. Once he feels safe, Rocco’s all affection—a loyal, clever little companion who sticks close to his person. He clicks well with other dogs in his foster home, manages potty training like a pro, and generally seems content and happy. Rocco's daily highlights: napping on the couch, tearing around the backyard, and snacking on treats. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night, knows how to use a leash for walks, and is starting to enjoy some toy time too. Rocco is used to canine company but would likely thrive as a solo dog if his people are around and attentive. A fenced yard or someone ready to walk him several times daily is ideal. He’s a bit wary of men, so he’ll need a female adopter to help him feel secure and settled at home. He weighs around 11 pounds and his adoption fee is sponsored. As a Capricorn, he brings a little practical persistence to every day. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
