About Paris
Paris is an affectionate one-year-old Labrador Retriever who weighs around 50 lbs. This short girl stands about knee-height and has a soft black coat that glimmers with brown undertones in the light. Daily training is essential for her, as she is still adjusting to her new world. While Paris has shown promise in house training, she thrives on consistency and regular outdoor outings. She's friendly with other dogs but is still figuring out how to interact with them. As she grows more secure, her playful side is bound to shine through. Paris can be timid when encountering new situations, a reflection of her past, but she's making strides, including leash training and getting comfortable with cars. So far, she's learned commands like sit, down, and place, with shake being her current challenge. She's a true cuddler and requires a secure, fenced yard to feel safe. Children are welcome if they respect her space. An adoption fee of $200 applies, and families must live within an hour of Elkhart, IN. It's important that other pets in the home are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations. No electric or underground fences are accepted. Once an application is approved, a meet-and-greet will be arranged. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
