When she first arrived in foster care, she was hesitant and shy, but now she enjoys life filled with play and affection. Kira thrives on the simple joys: walks, car rides, exploring new scents, and, of course, cuddling with the ones she loves. She especially delights in sunbathing and relaxing on outdoor patios. Though Kira can be a bit shy initially, she warms up quickly in a safe environment. She has developed a calm demeanor and has begun to embrace her playful side, especially when engaging with her dog friends. Kira is gentle with children and adapts well in homes with both dogs and cats, making her an excellent family pet. Kira is crate trained and is mostly house trained, showing little to no accidents when on a routine schedule. She may jump when excited and likes to explore countertops if given the chance. Given her past, she’s still building confidence and prefers quieter outings where she can explore at her own pace. Kira needs patient adopters who appreciate a calm canine companion.
