Meet Benjie. Benjie has spent much of his life relying on connection with someone he can trust. After losing his owner, he and his best friend, Petie, found themselves in the shelter, leaving Benjie feeling scared and withdrawn. For this naturally timid dog, the shift to an unfamiliar environment has been tough. Despite his fear, there’s a gentle soul waiting to shine through with the right support. This quiet, sensitive dog doesn't ask for attention immediately. Instead, he thrives with patience and kindness, slowly revealing the affectionate side buried within. Once Benjie knows he's safe, he loves being close to those he trusts, quietly absorbing their love. Throughout their time in the shelter, Benjie has found comfort in Petie. Their friendship provides mutual strength, helping them cope. Watching their bond grow is heartening, and we hope to find a family willing to keep them together.
