About Lucky
Lucky is a 1-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who weighs about 10 lbs. This charming little guy was surrendered when his previous owner could no longer care for him and has faced a rough start in life. Though he spent most of his time outdoors, he has a wonderful capacity to forgive and adores human companionship, especially with women. He thrives best in a female-led home and is looking for a place where he can feel safe and loved. Currently, he is working on his potty training, leash walking, and crate training. Lucky is getting accustomed to being an indoor dog, but right now he prefers to go potty indoors on pee pads as he adjusts. He has a sweet, gentle temperament and shows his affection by sticking close to his human, wanting to be by your side at all times. Separation anxiety is a hurdle for him, and he would benefit greatly from having another confident dog around to help him learn the ropes of life. Although he can be a bit shy, especially around men, he’s a quick learner and loves to engage with toys. If you're the kind of person who has the patience and love to help Lucky blossom, you'll find that he quickly becomes a loyal companion.
