About Max

Max is a one-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who has quite a story. Surrendered by an owner who couldn’t care for him anymore, he came to us matted, dirty, and flea-ridden. Despite his rough start, Max is a loving soul who quickly forgives and adores humans. He’s eager to thrive in a home where another confident dog can show him the ropes. Max is still learning the ins and outs of being a pet. While he’s working on his potty training and leash skills, he enjoys snuggling and lounging on the couch. He takes his time adjusting to new environments and will jump at loud noises. Being left alone in a crate isn’t his favorite just yet; he prefers to have his human nearby. Once settled for the night, he sleeps well for about seven to eight hours. With love and the companionship of another dog, Max will flourish. If you're ready to provide him with a stable home, he promises to return the affection tenfold. Ready to bring Max into your life? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
