About Minnie
Meet Minnie, a gentle Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for her forever home. At 1 year and 6 months old, this sweetheart has traveled quite a journey. She was found abandoned as a young puppy and taken in by a kind family. However, as she grew, they realized that her Great Pyrenees instincts, like her need for space and structure, exceeded what they could provide. Minnie has had a litter of puppies, all of whom have since been weaned and adopted. Now, she finds herself with us, hoping for a more fitting home where she can truly thrive. Though she’s spent much time outdoors recently, her previous family notes that she's house trained. She gets along well with other dogs and has shown no issues with cats, displaying a gentle demeanor around them. Initially, Minnie may come off as shy and timid, especially in a shelter setting, but give her a bit of time and she reveals her affectionate nature. With the right environment, one that understands the needs of large-breed dogs, she is eager to become a loyal companion. Minnie seeks a patient adopter who can provide the guidance she needs along with plenty of love. This young dog is ready to learn and grow; all she needs is a chance to shine. Ready to fall in love?
