About Dax
Dax is a striking hound mix whose personality unfolds slowly but surely. This sweet older gentleman prefers basking in the sunshine outdoors or curled up for a cozy nap inside. He warms up to people he knows well but tends to be shy around newcomers. Dax has a robust bark that he uses to keep an eye on what he perceives as suspicious activity, although he typically keeps quiet when on a leash. While Dax can be selective with his canine companions, he would thrive best alongside a dog that respects his space and doesn’t engage in play. Keep in mind that Dax does have an arthritic shoulder, so he will require medication for comfort. If you’re looking for a loving companion who's a bit of an introvert but well worth the wait, Dax could be your perfect match. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
