About Pumpkin
Pumpkin came to the shelter as a stray, so her past is a mystery. She’s a younger dog, about two years old, weighing in at 46 lbs, and is a hound/Pointer mix with a white and orange coat. She’s spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and tests negative for heartworm. You’ll notice Pumpkin is a bit timid when meeting new people, but with a little time, she’s sweet and friendly and enjoys being the center of attention. Pumpkin likes going for walks and handles herself pretty well on the leash. Since shelter life can make it tough to know if a dog is housebroken, it’s smartest to assume she’ll need some training at first. She seems comfortable around the other dogs at the shelter, but there haven’t been any chances to see how she does with kids or cats. If you have pets or kids at home, bring them for a meet and greet to see how everyone gets along. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
