Teddy is a delightful mix of Chihuahua and Miniature Poodle, currently thriving in foster care in Houston, Texas. At around 3.5 years old, he weighs about 10 lbs and has a charming personality. With a long coat that has recently grown back beautifully after being shaved due to matting, he will require regular grooming to keep him looking his best. After undergoing cataract surgery, Teddy can now see clearly, enhancing his playfulness and charm. He adores being a lap dog and often seeks out cuddles from his foster. While he gets along with most dogs, he prefers a calm environment and can be a bit protective of his food, making him a better fit as an only pet or with a quieter companion. He is fairly house trained, enjoys walks on a leash, and loves car rides. Teddy is looking for a loving home where he can be the center of attention, ideally with experienced dog owners and no children under 8.
