About Paloma

Paloma is a remarkable 1.5-year-old Cane Corso mix weighing 74 pounds. She embodies the warmth and loyalty typical of mastiff breeds, displaying a strong bond with her human. When she was returned to the shelter after being kept outside, she experienced confusion and fear, but she quickly blossomed in foster care. This gentle giant is friendly with everyone she meets, showing no signs of fear even with people in wheelchairs. Paloma interacts well with other playful dogs her size, but given her more dominant personality, she would do best with neutral or submissive companions. With a high prey drive, she should not be in a home with cats. Paloma is eager to learn and participates actively in training. She’s currently working on leash and crate training, showing a strong willingness to improve. Although she can get vocal when settling in her crate, she soon finds her calm after some exercise. Her ideal home will offer plenty of daily activity—at least 1.5 hours—to keep her happy and healthy. But don’t be fooled, this energetic girl also loves to snuggle and relax next to her person when she’s had her exercise. Mastiff breeds need a committed owner who understands their unique needs. With the right routine and attention, Paloma will repay your efforts with endless loyalty and affection. This loving dog is ready for her forever home, and she can't wait to share her life with someone special. Click apply to start the adoption process.
