About Kona
Meet Kona! This spirited Siberian Husky is about 2 years old and tips the scales at around 45 to 50 lbs. She came to us as a stray and quickly stole the hearts of her foster family. Vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, she's ready for her forever home. Kona thrives in an active environment; she’s playful and loves to run, showcasing her impressive speed. She's currently living in a foster home with both large and small dogs, where she enjoys running around and playing. Fully housetrained, she uses a dog door to access the fenced yard. While she managed to scale a baby gate, she’s yet to climb a fence, so watch out for those climbing adventures! Kona prefers an indestructible crate for when her foster mom is at work, and she’s gotten great at settling down there. She’s fantastic with bath time and brushing, just like a husky should be! Kona would benefit from being in a home with adopters who have experience with her breed. She's not usually a good fit for homes with cats and may be a bit much for some dogs, so a playmate who loves to romp around is ideal. Ready to make this wonderful dog a part of your life?
