Shadow is a sweet girl who found herself in a tough situation after her owner needed to relocate. Now around 7 years old and weighing about 20 pounds, she has come a long way from her feral beginnings, but potential adopters should be prepared to give her time to adjust. Shadow might not be a social butterfly right away, so patience is key. She’s spayed and up to date on her vaccinations, making her a healthy candidate for a new home. Shadow is comfortable with an open crate during the day but prefers it closed at night. She walks nicely on a leash and is friendly with other dogs, though she prefers her collection of stuffed toys over playing with them. Currently living in Thibodaux, LA, Shadow will soon be returning to her original foster home near Warrenton, VA.
