About Daisy
Daisy started life on the streets of Grant Parish, abandoned with her mother just before a cold snap. Rescuers stepped in, and now Daisy is a healthy, active 1-year-old. She looks like a confident blend of Lab, Dachshund, and Australian Cattle Dog, but she's uniquely herself—and at 35 lbs fully grown, she’s that perfect not-too-big, not-too-small size. Daisy is athletic and loves to run and play, especially with her sister Sandy. She’s reliably house and kennel trained, balancing her energetic side with a real craving for affection. Daisy loves attention, gets along well with children, and is social with other dogs. Her story is one of resilience: surviving her tough start, she’s ready for a lifetime of security and companionship. If you want a playful, sturdy dog with a soft spot for people, Daisy has a lot to offer. Ready to make her next chapter her best? Click apply to start the adoption process.
