Ladybird
AvailableLadybird is a small, adult female dog with a curly red coat. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Living in Metairie, LA, she's ready for a new home where she can be the only pet, ensuring she gets all the love and attention she deserves.
About Ladybird
Meet Ladybird, an adorable curly redhead ready to fulfill your dreams of canine companionship. Soft eyes and those big, beautiful ears make her truly enchanting. Although sheβs playful, she also enjoys her calm moments, preferring to quietly follow you around or sit contentedly at your feet. Sometimes, she likes to romp around in the yard, bringing a bit of joy to your day. At around 4-5 years old, Ladybird is a mixed breed of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Miniature Poodle. Previously from a rural shelter, she was brought in after being found not house trained. While Ladybird is generally well-mannered, she thrives as the sole occupant of her castle. Although she may tolerate a calm cat or a respectful small dog, her past experiences with other dogs make us think she'd rather be the only princess in your home. This breed requires regular grooming to keep her curly coat in check, as it can mat easily if neglected. Ideally, we hope to find Lady a home with experienced adopters familiar with high-maintenance coats. She's spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for her forever home. Ladybird is currently located in Metairie, Louisiana, and is open to out-of-state adoption. Start your journey with Ladybird today!

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Ladybird enjoys a small yard or outdoor space where she can play and romp around. However, as long as she gets daily walks and playtime, she can adapt to smaller living quarters.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
