About Waldo Wheres
Waldo Wheres is a 7-year-old Chihuahua seeking a new home. After losing his owner, he initially felt lost and reacted with fear when he first arrived at the shelter. Thankfully, with time and care in his foster home, he's transformed. Now, his tail wags non-stop as he shadows his foster wherever she goes. Waldo has also made great strides with house training and has developed a charming bond with another small dog in the home. Despite his small size, Waldo takes his job of protecting his person seriously. He’ll alert you to any comings and goings, and may even bark at passersby. It's part of his Chihuahua nature, and he would thrive in a home with experienced adopters who understand his protective instincts. A home with another small dog and no small children or frequent visitors would suit him best. Food motivates him, making it easier for new owners to earn his trust. Waldo is neutered, vaccinated, and house trained. If you’re considering adoption, we offer a two-week foster-to-adopt trial to help him settle in. He deserves a loving family to call his own after such a tough transition. Waldo is located in Metairie, LA. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
