About Hansel Taylor

Meet Hansel Taylor, a charming senior Dachshund who's approximately 14.5 years old and weighs 16 lbs. After being rescued from a tough situation in Mississippi, he was adopted but returned when his owner's circumstances changed. Now back in familiar care, Hansel is just as sweet and vibrant as ever. Despite his age, he shows no signs of slowing down. He enjoys walks, playing in the yard, and making new friends. Hansel is great with other dogs as long as interactions are off-leash, although he can be a bit vocal on-leash. Recently, he underwent dental work but continues to enjoy his meals and treats without issue. His vision and hearing remain sharp, allowing him to relish in all of life's joys. Hansel thrives on affection and is a laid-back lapdog who loves being a part of the family. His previous family was heartbroken to let him go, and we are committed to finding him a loving retirement home where he can continue to bring joy. If you think you can provide that special place for Hansel, please follow up on the adoption process. Ready to make Hansel a part of your family? Click apply to start the adoption process.
