About Cash

Cash is eager for walks, cozy naps, and a family that will love him. This lively 2-year-old Blue Tick Coonhound mix weighs about 65 lbs and has a heart as big as his personality. He embodies the perfect mix of an adventure buddy and a couch nap partner. Friendly and sociable, Cash greets everyone with enthusiasm and a happy spirit. He's energetic enough for a game of fetch but also knows how to wind down after playtime. Being great with kids, Cash thrives in active households. He enjoys the company of other dogs; however, he doesn't need a furry friend to be content. Proper introductions will allow him to cohabit with another dog, but he can be just as happy as someone's solo adventure companion. Mostly house trained and crate trained (though he may whine initially), he’s also honing his leash manners. With consistent guidance, he’s easily manageable on walks. Cash learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. Given his smart nature and high prey drive, he’d do best in a home committed to regular exercise and training, particularly in a yard where he can safely run and explore. Cats are not a good fit for him. An ideal adopter will be active and ready to provide the love and structure this loyal companion deserves. Cash is being fostered in Texas and will be transported to his forever home through our rescue. This loving dog is waiting for a home where he can thrive. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
