Emma arrived at our care through the Associated Humane Society of Newark, where she was originally found as a stray in Middlesex County. She’s been spayed, vaccinated, and treated for any fleas or ticks, plus she’s microchipped. Currently in a foster home in Jersey City, NJ, Emma is a playful and affectionate cat who loves to cuddle. While Emma is friendly, she prefers to be the only pet in the household. She doesn’t get along well with other cats or dogs, and younger children may not understand her needs. A home with older kids or adults who respect cat boundaries would suit her best. We only adopt within New Jersey and prefer adopters live no more than an hour from North Bergen.
