About Mirae
Meet Mirae, a brave girl with a heart full of love. This 5-year-old spayed female Jindo is a resilient soul who's been through a lot. Found alone on a rural road after losing her left hind leg, she was rescued by a kind-hearted volunteer who took the time to gain her trust. Despite her past, Mirae shines with affection for people, preferring their company above all else. Mirae loves to stay close to her humans and enjoys relaxing by their side. While she occasionally engages with stuffed toys, her real joy comes from being with people. She has adapted well to life on three legs and enjoys gentle outdoor exploration at her own pace. Currently, she is undergoing leash training to boost her confidence during walks. This lovely girl does not experience separation anxiety and is food-motivated, but she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She can display some jealousy around other dogs, thus excelling in a one-pet household where she can fully enjoy the love and attention she deserves. Mirae is gentle but can be timid, especially about her hindquarters, and nail trimming can be particularly stressful for her. Her bath time is smooth, and with patience, she continues to build trust during handling. Mirae seeks a patient family that will appreciate her sensitive nature. An ideal home for her would be one where she is the only pet, with loving people who recognize and support her gentle heart. She's proof that strength can shine through adversity. Are you the forever family she’s been waiting for? Adoption Fee: $525, and please note that Mirae is currently in a foster home in Korea. She will be transported to the U.S. upon adoption, so in-person meet-and-greets can’t be arranged. Ready to adopt? Click apply to start the adoption process.
