About Nemo
Meet Nemo. This tiny one-year-old miniature Chihuahua is full of heart and has a story that speaks to resilience. Left behind in a subdivision with his sister Jenny when their previous owners moved away, Nemo was fortunate enough to be rescued and is now looking for a loving home. Weighing around 3 lbs, Nemo is the quintessential pocket-sized companion. Once adopted, he’ll travel from his foster home in Mexico to begin his new journey in the U.S. He thrives in the company of people, eagerly following them around and curling up in laps for cozy naps. He adores soft, fluffy spots to relax. Crate trained, Nemo does best with a structured routine. He’s affectionate yet alert, barking when strangers are near, making him a surprisingly effective watchdog for his size. He gets along famously with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a versatile addition to many households. Ideally, he’d love to be adopted with his sister Jenny, but he is also ready to shine on his own. While Nemo has a charming quirk—a partially formed back paw—this doesn’t impede his joyful spirit or energy. He’s playful and loving, prepared to leave his past behind and step into a safe, happy future. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
