About Maki
Maki is a 5½-year-old girl who was found roaming the streets of Guanajuato, Mexico. Now safe in her foster home in Guanajuato, Maki patiently waits for her forever family and will travel to the United States once adopted. She is the definition of a shadow dog—always close by, happiest when curled up with her people. Maki’s nature is sweet, steady, and endlessly loving. She’s outgoing and friendly with everyone, quick to make new friends, and shines around other dogs. Kids are no problem for her, and her calm energy suggests that she’d fit in well with cats too. Her personality is mellow and laid-back. Maki doesn’t need much to be content—a quiet spot, some affection, and a spot on the couch with family. She’s the kind of companion who simply wants to be part of someone’s daily routine, loyal and steady-hearted. If you’re searching for an easygoing, devoted lap dog who’s ready to settle in for good, Maki could be exactly what you need. Click apply to start the adoption process.
