About Ernie
Meet Ernie, a charming young male orange tabby with a heart full of love. He has mild Cerebellar Hypoplasia, commonly known as "Wobbly Cat Syndrome," which makes him a bit shaky, especially during mealtime. You'll notice how his enthusiasm for food gives him a unique flair. Despite his condition, Ernie is quite outgoing, enjoying the company of his roommate Gretta and other cats, though some might be a bit unsure of his quirks. Ernie isn’t just about cuddling; he’s a playful spirit who can entertain himself for hours with toys, laser lights, and office supplies with boundless energy and enthusiasm. He does face some challenges, such as navigating stairs, but he takes his time and manages well. His lively nature can sometimes lead to a little noise, but he sleeps soundly since he can’t hear all the commotion around him. Ernie is waiting for his surgery to remove a polyp from his ear, and his foster home has seen him improve over time. Although he has some special needs, he’s an affectionate companion who's ready for a loving home. Want to meet this wonderful cat? Schedule an appointment at his foster home and see for yourself!
