Keno is a two-year-old gray domestic short hair who comes as a bonded pair with his brother, Kato. He’s easy to spot thanks to the cream markings on his front legs—almost like little knee socks—and a notably soft coat. For the past five months, both brothers have been living with a foster family, where they’ve earned a reputation for being laid-back and well-behaved. It took them a while to settle in due to a lack of early attention, but they’ve grown to love the comfort and care of their foster home. Most days, Keno and Kato pace themselves between playful sessions with toys and watching birds and squirrels from their favorite perch. They also tune in for the occasional cat video. Both boys are unbothered by the presence of dogs, having lived with a senior poodle, and they do well with other mellow cats given proper introductions. Keno is best suited to a family with older children who’ll enjoy interacting with him and Kato. Litter box manners are spotless, scratching posts get used, and their food routine keeps Keno’s coat in great condition.
