About Marco Purrito

Marco Purrito is a handsome black Domestic Shorthair and is 2 years old. After coming to us as a stray, he had a tough start, finding himself trapped in a house before arriving at the shelter. This sensitive boy is still adjusting to the idea that people can be kind and that he is now safe. For now, Marco enjoys cozy corners where he can hide, feeling more secure in his space. Although nervous, he shows encouraging signs—accepting treats and tolerating gentle pets from those he trusts. He needs a patient adopter who will allow him to gain confidence at his own pace. A quiet home filled with cozy hideaways and a lot of love (and treats!) is essential for him to flourish. If you have a soft spot for shy cats and the ability to foster trust, Marco Purrito could be an ideal addition to your family. Remember, some of the most rewarding friendships grow slowly. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all adopted animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. You can visit us during open hours or call to confirm his availability.
