Having lived with many other cats, she's familiar with feline companionship and may enjoy sharing her home with other friendly cats. Right now, Jessicat can be a little nervous as she settles into her new surroundings. She's the type of cat who prefers to sit back and observe before jumping into anything new. Lately, she's been growing more confident, beginning to explore her environment and showing curiosity about the people around her. Beneath her cautious exterior is a sweet girl who simply needs a little time and patience to feel secure. As her confidence continues to grow, we expect more of her personality to shine through. Jessicat is looking for a calm, understanding home where she can adjust at her own pace and rediscover the stability she's lost. At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
