About Grace
Meet Grace. Some dogs are rescued because of a specific plan, while others, like Grace, are saved because someone couldn't leave her behind. Grace was found wandering between two abandoned homes outside Dallas, alongside her siblings and possibly her mother. The environment was tragic, filled with broken glass and pests, making it nearly impossible for her to survive. People nearby did their best to help but could not provide a safe haven. A rescue stepped in for the two mama dogs and their puppies, though they had no extra space. Then Grace approached them calmly, with a gentle smile and hopeful eyes, showing a heart full of love. Leaving her behind was not an option; they had to make room. Grace is now about one year old, a Black Mouth Cur and Pit Bull mix, weighing roughly 60 pounds. Having lived in fear on the streets, she may take some time to adjust to new experiences, but her lovely personality is beginning to blossom. She's house trained, wonderful with children, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Grace is gentle, affectionate, and a sunbathing enthusiast, believing she’s a 60-pound lap dog who thrives on being close to her favorite human. She may not ask for much—just a cozy bed, a loving family, and a sense of security. Despite her tough past, her heart remains open, hoping for a forever home. Grace is waiting for the family who will give her the love she deserves. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
