Let me tell you Lexi's story!!!! On 9/26/24 at the age of 1yrs old and at 57lb she found herself in the shelter and somewhere along the line she was adopted...fast forward to 8/28/25 she came back into the shelter as a cruelty case at almost 2 yrs old and weighting in at only 36lb. On 10/1/25 we were asked to help her because she was scheduled to be EU, the reason was kennel behavior. She had a lot to say, when we met her she was a screaming fool. She was angry, scared and wondering if she leave this place again will she go to hell again. In all honesty no one ever knows what kind of home or family will adopt and the lives of these pups are in the hands of shelters and rescues. I opened her kennel door and told her to stop her BS, she's got one shot. She either likes me or she dies. Once the door opened and she realized she was not going to be hurt she said hi, pet me. On 10/1/25 is when I took the skinny pics. Today she is back to 57lb. The part the sucks is now she is heartworm positive!!! She was the perfect kid in the truck. No reaction to others in the truck.
