About Blue
Meet Blue! This adorable puppy is part of a litter of Great Pyrenees mix puppies who were found as strays, left in a box by the roadside in Watsonville. Luckily, a good Samaritan brought them to safety at the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. Understandably, Blue is a bit nervous after his experience but is slowly coming out of his shell with all the love and care from the staff and volunteers. As a puppy, Blue is expected to grow into a large dog. Potential adopters should plan for a slow introduction to any resident pets, as meeting before adoption can help foster a good relationship. Families should also be ready for typical puppy challenges, including potty training and socialization. Blue is currently available for pre-adoption and can go home once he’s neutered. Don’t miss your chance to meet this sweet boy—he’s sure to steal your heart! The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter offers "Pawsitivity Bucks," a $200 training voucher for each dog adoption, helping you and your new friend to start your relationship off on the right paw! What are you waiting for? Apply today!
