About Artie

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED FOR ARTIE - TAMPA, FL Artie’s journey has been heartbreaking, but he continues to radiate love. This sweet Shepherd spent over a year tied to a tree in severe conditions after his owner passed away. When we discovered him, he was emaciated, covered in fleas, and suffering from a bad cough. Our team learned he was heartworm positive, needing emergency treatment to survive. The fight for his life has cost us greatly, but Artie has shown incredible resilience. Now, he’s playful, affectionate, and full of life, ready for a calm home that can provide the love and stability he so deserves. Artie does well with other non-aggressive dogs, but we ask for no young children to ensure a peaceful environment. After a recent incident with another dog, we know he needs a safe space to heal and thrive. If you can show Artie the kindness he has long sought, please consider fostering or adopting him. Let’s help Artie find his forever home. Every little bit helps; support his recovery!
